freaky_nea picked out five icons for me to talk about:

1.

Carrie Fisher napping in a chair on the set of The Empire Strikes Back. I don't use this one a lot, despite how much I talk about Star Wars. But I love this photo so much, and Hoth Leia is the best Leia of the OT era. It seems like Carrie was the most comfortable on this set, too, despite struggling with addiction at the time.


2.

A stock photo of a pay phone. This is one of my icons for being an "old" person online. (Since this is Livejournal, I should add that I'm not old -- I'm only 35 -- but as all of us in the Oregon Trail Generation know, the gap is real.)


3.

This is one I made: Hillary Clinton posting to her own subreddit in 2016. I love how serious she is and what a grandma she is on her laptop. I use this one for politics sometimes as well as for being old on the internet.


4.

Mos Def as Ford Prefect! I don't use this icon much either, but I can't get rid of it (as long as I have all these icon slots). The Hitchhiker's Guide has a special place in my heart.


5.

Another of the ones I made myself, in those heady early days of Stormpilot. How innocent we all were!
