my favorite male character: Last year I would have said Poe Dameron, but with the new canon I'm not sure. Like, I'm still interested in the character but he's not who we thought we were meeting in TFA. I think I'll just say Luke.
my otp: Luke/Biggs or Leia/Evaan
my ot3: Still Poe/Finn/Rey, I think, but I'm on board for Finn/Rey/Rose too.
my rare pair: All my OTPs are rare pairs! Well, except a couple juggernauts like Finn/Poe and Baze/Chirrut. But, what do I like that's even more niche than Luke/Biggs... Luke/Poe? Luke/Lando, too. Leia/Poe kind of but uh again, before things got weird. Oh and WEDGE/FAKE WEDGE.
my anti otp: ...You know. That one. That one's a hard no. I literally have a browser extension that replaces it with "hellship" these days.
my favorite pair of enemies/rivals/antagonists: Hm. There are a lot of these to think about! I really liked the Darth Vader comics storyline showing the sort of cold war between Vader and Palpatine starting after ANH, though. They're both formidable antagonists and it's riveting to see them work against each other. It also does a great job of stitching together the prequel version of Anakin and the Darth Vader we know in the OT.

my ot3: Ohhhh lord. That's just...an amazing panoply of terrible options. I love this show. Uhh. I mean, I have to say Ellen/Geoffrey/Oliver, right? It's the central horrible OT3 of the show. I think the main fic for it on AO3 is literally called "Obviously We're Terrible At This." I couldn't say I ship it, but it's sure where all the stories are.
my rare pair: Anna/Maria
my anti otp: I don't really have one... I guess I was a little annoyed in S2 when they did the storyline about the previously-gay-identifying leading man falling in love with his Juliet? I was always bothered, on the Doylist level, by the way that all the sexy and/or dramatically interesting pairs on the show had to be heterosexual.
my favorite pair of enemies/rivals/antagonists: Geoffrey and Darren
my favorite cast member: How can anyone choose? Maybe Rachel McAdams. Or Stephen Ouimette, because I saw him in As You Like It at Stratford once and he was great.
a character I’d die defending: Geoffrey's poor stage manager from Theatre Sans Argent, Cheryl, the one who thinks theaters need phones, the one who he borrowed her car to drive over to the rest of the main plot in the beginning of Season 1 and we never heard from her again
a character I just can’t sympathize with: "Oh, Richard. You were so close to becoming a human being."
a character I grew to love: I'm not sure there was anyone who needed time to grow on me. Maybe the understudy who has to go on as Macbeth in S2.

my otp: ...well, in S1 it was obviously Jessica/Trish, but they shifted gears and went real hard on the NO HOMO SISTERS 100% LITERALLY SISTERS thing in S2 so I guess now that's retroactively incest. So, I don't know, have Claire come back and get to know Jessica and that's my OTP now.
my ot3: It's hard enough to put two people on this show together without snakes beginning to manifest physically in one's house...
my rare pair: Yeah, let's go with Jessica/Claire
my anti otp: Like... hopefully I don't even have to say it
my favorite pair of enemies/rivals/antagonists: I don't know that this show is actually great at that particular dynamic. I would've been interested in more plot for the Scooby Gang vs. Karl Malus, and/or for the antagonistic relationship with Pryce Cheng, but I didn't really like how either one ultimately shook out on screen.
my favorite cast member: A tie among... all of them... but as a child of the nineties I'll give special shout-outs to Carrie-Anne Moss and Callum Keith Rennie.
a character I’d die defending: I am not getting anywhere near any one of these people in any kind of situation where combat might end up being involved
a character I just can’t sympathize with: I'm not sure who I do sympathize with except for Oscar's kid whatshisname
a character I grew to love: Man, again, that is... that is a long stare at a blank sheet of paper. I think instead I'll take this opportunity to give a tangentially related shout-out to Simpson, who wasn't redeemed or remotely likable or anything, but who did a fantastic death scene. Wil Traval absolutely acted the shit out of that monologue, big ups to him.

my anti otp: Spike/Buffy was kind of *already* my anti otp, before it became canon, and then, well. Well! That happened! I do feel for the fans who actually did ship them, though, I mean, nobody wanted that to happen.
my favorite pair of enemies/rivals/antagonists: Hmm. Buffy and Faith, probably. Can't mess with the classics.
my favorite cast member: Charisma Carpenter, for all the b.s. she went through. Something is wrong with Joss Whedon! Like really wrong with him!

a character I just can’t sympathize with: the men, overall
a character I grew to love: I think Buffy herself. I feel like I had a hard time connecting with her in the high school years because I just naturally identified with the "nerdy" characters, and didn't appreciate the richness of her character (and SMG's performance) until later on.

*nods* I don't get some of the hate Joyce seems to get in fandom. Maybe it's me watching the show for the first time when my own kids were almost teenagers, but while she was fallible and human, I thought she did a pretty good job with the information she had, or at least no worse than Buffy's friends and Giles.

That's a really good answer. She is not the kind of character I like normally at all, but I ended up really impressed with her over the course of the show.

my rare pair: I think they're all rare pairs, are there any juggernaut pairings for this show? *checks AO3* ...well, by numbers the juggernaut pairing is "Tommy Shelby/[Various Forms of Reader Self-Insert]" which I suppose should not surprise me. XD
my anti otp: *checks AO3 some more* Statistically, I'm... actually kind of relieved by how little incest porn there is for this show, because people cannot seem to stop writing incest porn for five seconds anytime there's a work of fiction with blood relatives who have some kind of interesting storylines
my favorite pair of enemies/rivals/antagonists: I again am going to go with Tommy and Freddie, I feel like that was so interesting because of how they had a long history and grew up to have their lives driven by these absolutely irreconcilable defining desires that put them on a collision course. That made it a tragedy, and the various "big bads" were not as exciting to me in comparison.
my favorite cast member: It would be tough to have a show with Cillian Murphy in it and not say Cillian Murphy, but I could also say the same thing about Tom Hardy... Dark horse pick: Kenneth Colley (Vicente Changretta), because he played Admiral Piett in Star Wars!!

my favorite pair of enemies/rivals/antagonists: Chilton and Gideon, even though Gideon's storylines make *absolutely no sense*
my favorite cast member: Esparza you tireless angel-voiced bilingual bisexual role model, I listened to tick tick… BOOM! for you, I was trying to get Chilton laid before it was cool, come to my arms and let me write you a better TV show or at least put you in a better-conceived production of Company [...this was my answer from the meme three years ago, and it has become more sadlarious given how things have gone for him in his subsequent main role on SVU]
a character I’d die defending: Nowadays? Even though I wasn’t that interested in her back in S1 when she was being written interestingly, I would most readily take up arms for Alana Bloom. She’s been psychologically and sexually abused by someone she thought was her friend, and not only the fans but also the writers themselves have treated it as a sexual relationship that she actually shoulders some responsibility for. (Oh, and something that should be filmed like sexy sex and giffed accordingly.)
a character I just can’t sympathize with: I’m going to pass on the obvious one here and add that I also don’t sympathize with Hannibal-analogue Abel Gideon, a family annihilator who we’re supposed to imagine later became a serial killer entirely because of Chilton’s psychiatrist devil-magic I mean Psychic Driving and is otherwise, you know, a very moral guy. I think this storyline only floated at all because 1) Eddie Izzard is extremely charming and 2) our culture is so lacking in any understanding of the realities of family violence that a TV show can just be like, “he killed his whole family! but it was an isolated incident and he’s Crazy! so you shouldn’t take that as having any bearing on what kind of person he is ok”
a character I grew to love: Abigail. Man, did they not know what they had in Abigail, or in Kaycey Rohl. DON’T EVEN TALK TO ME ABOUT ALIVE ABIGAIL I’M SO MAD god the things Alive Abigail could have been doing, the stories you coulda told with Alive Abigail instead of showing her off for an insta-refridging after 12 episodes of her being “dead”

a character I just can’t sympathize with: Well, for all the terrible mistakes made by various good guys at various points, it's still pretty Good vs. Evil on this here demon show. I think I sympathize with everyone who's not an employee of Literal Hell
a character I grew to love: I never didn't love Bennett, but I have just loved him more and more as the show has gone on. I am now Very Worried
