What most recently made you feel elated?

This is a high (get it?) bar in 2020. I'm gonna say the closest thing to qualify recently would be some of the episodes of UK Taskmaster that made me laugh so hard I might have peed a little.

Where is the slowest elevator in the universe?

We thought it was the one at that hotel in Allentown, but it took us 20 minutes to figure out it didn't actually stop at the mezzanine, so I guess the real slowest ones in the universe were me and my drunk friends.

When were you most recently in an airplane?

On the way back from my trip last summer. July?

With what have you had it up to here?

People who are still worried about Trump overturning the election. I think I find it so frustrating because there's no way to calm them down. They just come back  asking about the same insane things they've seen on twitter and MSNBC again. "I just want to know when will it be really final so I can stop worrying about it" it's been final several times a week for the past month Brenda, friends don't let friends watch MSNBC

What’s a good song whose title contains the word “sky?”

After a brief review of my iTunes library I'm going to go with "Sky Fits Heaven" by Madonna, off 1998's Ray of Light. Honorable mention to the Brian Eno track "Sky Saw," which is the one I'd listen to first out of my "sky" search results, but is it a "song"? Who can say? What even is art, man?

1. Have you ever experienced a hurricane firsthand?

No.

2. Have you ever experienced outside heat over 100 degrees Fahrenheit (38 degrees C)?

Oh, sure. In Vegas, in Seattle, maybe in Chicago though I don't remember specific three-digit days there. I'm sure it'll be happening more in this part of California in the future too. It's miserable.

3. When and where was the coldest temperature you have ever experienced?

In Chicago it would get pretty close to zero (F) in the winter. According to timeanddate.com, it never cracked below zero when I lived there, though it was often below freezing. That was the worst too! I'm not sure which was more the worst, the winter or the summer.

4. Is your household prepared for a possible power outage of two to seven days?

Hrrm. Are we talking just power, or water and power? I actually think we'd be good, although if it was a whole seven days we sure wouldn't be happy. By then we'd have just gone to stay somewhere else, though, assuming this wasn't an apocalyptic kind of disaster.

5. Do you have a go bag?

Oh yeah. Putting together go-bags is kind of relaxing for me. I should go around and update all that stuff, though, because it has been a while since I did any maintenance on our emergency shit, and just now I was thinking "what kind of thing would we exactly need to evacuate from in this part of the country anyway" and then I remembered about fire. On that note, I should also get the tree trimmers out here while it's the cool season.
