I'm actually pretty excited about it this time around, possibly because of the armload of new fandoms I accumulated in the last six months, possibly in part because (...looks outside) the fuck else am I going to be able to do in January?

Thank you for sharing this (and the other fandomtrees DW journal that you posted about.) I really want to start using my DW. I did have some fic there, but it disappeared. *shrug* There seem to be some cool comms over at DW.

I've never been able to keep a DW going myself, but I've done Snowflake using my LJ a few times. It doesn't bring in the level of general engagement that it probably would on a DW account, but it's still fun. (And I do get visits from a few new people who aren't scared that Vladimir Putin will come into their hard drive and steal all their gay fanfic if they view a page on the livejournal dot com domain. *g*)
